Spring Nail Designs Giving Elegant Yet Playful In The Best Way

Spring has sprung, so has my deep desire for a nail update. So, here are my favorite spring nail designs, and if you didn’t know, I love playful nail art, but it always has to be elegant and wearable.

Subtle Fruit-Inspired Spring Nail Designs

Fruit? I know, but hear me out. Fruits are a nice twist on the typical spring flower/bunny/chicks themes. If you think about it, fruits like strawberries, lemon, and watermelon have fresh and bright hues, making them the perfect base for nail art.

Watermelon is winning this spring. It’s a versatile fruit. This version in a pastel peachy orange is equal parts pretty and fun.

Elegant Nail Art With Flowers

Spring means flowers. Always an easy go-to nail art theme for the season. These designs are delicate and understated with pastel pops of color. Winning combo.

You have to do a double-take to catch the flowers in this design! The combo of the pastel lavender and butter yellow nails is cute enough. Topped with the delicate white daisies is the perfect way to add the floral vibes without going overboard.

These designs offer color and design inspiration.

Option 1: The soft pastel minty green or pink on all nails and skip the flower designs for a more wearable look, if you’re not into nail art.

Option 2: Commit to the design as it is. The flowers are barely there, making it playful but also perfect for everyday wear.

Graphic and colorful with all the hues of spring — coral pink, butter yellow, and seafoam green — plus a hint of edge with black. If the black feels too much, remove it from the design and use white instead of black.

Pastel Rainbow Spring Nails

This category is just for fun 😀

A unique nod to the season, but we’re here for it: pastel rainbows!

Both designs scream spring in the pastel base colors — lilac, nude, pink, light green — with rainbows on the ring finger. With or without the rainbow element, these spring nail designs work. Make it your own!
