Here Are Some Great Skin Care Products For Men
Myth busted: there is no such thing as skin care products for men! And no, a bar of soap does not count 🙂
Skin care products are not created based on gender. You just have to use what’s right for your skin type and concerns.

Men’s skin care kit – what to include?
Before we jump into products, here’s what a skin care kit should include:
Cleansing balm or oil
Cleanser aka face wash
Exfoliator or face mask — use 2-3x a week
Moisturizer and/or beard oil or conditioner
Sunscreen SPF 30 minimum
Skin care products for dry skin
The main thing about dry skin type is that your skin is lacking moisture. You know that dry, tugging sensation on the skin after washing your face with water or cleanser? Yeah, it’s not a pleasant feeling. So, these skin care products for men are designed to add moisture back into the skin and keep it hydrated.
Skin care for oily skin
Oily skin has the opposite problem to dry skin. There’s a permanent oily glow in your T-zone, right? These skin care products (for men and women) are focused on promoting oil-control (excess sebum) in the skin and minimizing the appearance of pores.
Men’s skin care for acne
Skin care for acne-prone skin looks quite similar to products used in an oily skin care routine, but with a few tweaks to target acne-specific concerns such as scarring, cleansing pore, and reducing inflammation. Products with salicylic acid are great to combat acne.
Skin care tips for men with beards
- Wash face and bear every day to remove dirt, debris, oils, dead skin cells etc. Use a gentle cleanser, NOT soap. Massage in circular motions, rinse with warm water, and pat dry with a towel.
- If you have stubble, then exfoliate with a scrub 2-3x a week. Follow up with moisturizer and sunscreen SPF 30.
- If you have a full beard, then use a beard conditioner or beard oil (depending on your skin type) and comb through.
