Here’s quick guide on where to find stylish and affordable postpartum swimwear in Bangkok. The body changes so much after having a baby and the swimsuits I wore pre-baby don’t really fit or function well to hold things in place anymore, if you know what I mean.
So, I hope this post offers some helpful solutions for anyone else out there with the same swimwear woes. (FYI: I am 173cm tall with a curvy pear-shaped body. I’m a UK size 12/14 ).

Possibly one of the cutest and most comfortable swimsuits I own. This one-piece from Decathlon is almost perfect from every perspective. It offers great support around the chest area, so it’s ideal for a busy pool or beach day without any worries. I also really like that it gives a lot of “butt” coverage (IYKYK :D).
The print is colorful and fun with the low cut back and criss-cross straps offering a sexier vibe without revealing too much. The fabric is stretchy and accommodates extra postpartum tummy weight well. Like I said, it’s near perfect.
It’s also available in a blue print, which I like just as much.

I love the style of this swimsuit. The one shoulder, color blocking, and mid-section cut out work really well together to help the body look lean. I think it is stylish and functional and works pretty well for a post-baby body. The cut out around the tummy is strategically placed to give the torso a slimmer effect.
I would definitely say this swimsuit is better suited for lounging around in and light swimming because it’s a one shoulder piece, the support is good, but not as strong as a regular swimsuit. So, keep that in mind before purchasing.
I ordered this Two Tone One Shoulder One Piece Swimwear online in black and white earlier in the summer and the fit was amazing view that I didn’t physically try it on. I think this colour is currently out of stock, but there’s a pink and red option available:

The swimwear section at Robinson Department Store in Asok offers a huge variety of brands, styles and sizes. What worked best for me is to mix a top and bottom from different brands. I know it’s a bit cumbersome to comb through all the brands, but I think it’s well worth it because you can actually find swimwear that fits well and it’s not too exorbitantly priced (IMO).
I bought this tankini-style swimsuit from Robinson while I was about 6 months pregnant and it served me well even after giving birth. The bottoms are from the brand Elle in XL and the top is from Jantzen in L. The bottoms are high waisted with a skirt over the top, which I really love because it is flattering and hides all the things I don’t want poking out. I especially like the top because it has flowy fabric under the chest area and this makes it very forgiving around the tummy area, which is key while pregnant and postpartum. It also has adjustable straps and great chest support, making it perfect to wear while swimming with a baby/child and doing other things. I think the busy print also takes away focus from the body.
